I have installed emmet for Atom and when I type "html" no green lettering appears and when I hit tab nothing happens. I cannot get the boilerplate to show up. I am using a chromebook. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you.

I'm having the exact same problem. Even went with Visual Studio Code and Emmet isn't working over there either.

I installed emmet. It worked upon original install but suddenly now the boiler plates are not showing up. I double checked and emmet is not uninstalled or disabled.

I had this issue too until I renamed the file "index.html". Hope that helps!

Looks like you need to have the ending .html attached to whatever file name you choose in order for this to work. For example index.html or bluberrypancake.html.
