columns and columns-pack appearances have extra space when used on select from secondary instance

I think this is just a cosmetic issue and not a functional one.

This seems it could be related to #29: the itemset templates taking up some space.

Here is what it looks like with missing media:

Columns pack now works as expected but colums still has the last one with extra padding.
