Clarification on Mismatch in API response for Sensors Counts and Actual Counts #422

The API https://envirocar.org/api/stable/ denotes the number of available records for sensors as #647.

But when I retrieved the actual data from sensor API, only 597 records were retrieved. There seems to be a mismatch in the number of records.

Records specified: 647
Retrieved records-597 (the page-wise count is given below)

Page#, no of records
1 89
2 74
3 87
4 100
5 100
6 100
7 47

Could you please help me in understanding this?

Also I would like to know what is the usual procedure in updating a new record? Will the latest data be appended on the last page or how this works?

Any pointers would very much be appreciated.
