The Dev environment for Mac with docker-mac-net-connect does not work with Docker Desktop 4.16.x due to docker/for-mac#6699. I was able to workaround this issue by using this Docker Desktop dev build.

The docs should be updated to xref this issue.

According to docker/for-mac#6699 this was fixed in version 4.17.0. I tried in the latest version 4.18.0 and it works so I think the issue can be closed.
