no license = public domain. Credits would be nice tho.

Actually "no license"="copyrighted" in most jurisdictions including US and RF ;)
Plz, state explicitly in all files to avoid confusion
If You want credits then use newBSD + Apache + whatever_the_same_in_spirit ;)

I really don't care and I'm not willing to pollute my sources with this stuff. I will put license.txt under project root at some point, for now you can assume it's licensed under WTFPL

Perhaps, "any license deemed open source by http://opensource.org/licenses/index.html" would be a better choice ;) At least, that would make me a lot happier than WTFPL (which I never heard of) ;)
