I just asked this in the forum, but this might be more public in case anyone is
interested in the answer.

Is there a way to modify the program to default to holding BTC and selling out
to USD when a drop appears likely? Currently no trading strategy that I have
come up with is capable of matching a buy and hold strategy, so I would like to
default to buy and hold and only sell out when it might be profitable to do so.

Not possible with the current example fitness functions.

I'm working on a neural network implementation that generates separate buy and
sell indicators.

I still need to resolve how the system should support both methods.

I, too, would love that functionality. It's really tricky to get HFT activity
going on.
