It doesn't seem to be a common issue, as hundreds of people have updated successfully so far. Could it be because the downloaded file was somehow corrupted for you? First, try updating again. If that doesn't work, go to the installation directory and manually execute Edit: If you get the same error when you manually execute the setup, could you send me the file so I can examine it? |
Okay, updating again doesn't work. Manually execute TaigaSetup.exe doesn't work. So I downloded the setup and this works.

Avira's fault. It apparently prevents the auto-update process of Taiga, replacing the contents of the executable with HTML that says:
