I'm using Anilist, but everytime I try to add new anime to my list I get the following error:

"Update failed: AniList returned an error: Validation error: The selected media id is invalid."

Updating status of animes already added works fine.

This issue seems to be fixed after removing some files from the "data/"-folder.

You should almost never modify the data directory yourself, it may break the application.

What you did probably was to delete the file that contains your update queue. You could have cleared the queue or removed the relevant item from Taiga's History page instead.

The error message indicates that the anime you first tried to add was "invalid" somehow. Perhaps it was removed from AniList's database? Do you happen to remember which anime it was?

There wasnt any specific anime, because it happened all the animes I tried to add. I did remove the latest items from history queue too, but that didnt fix the issue.

The animes I've tried all exist in the Anilist. And they are all that are coming up on winter 2020. I can name few of them, although I have added all of them on my plan to watch for now.

Infinite Dendogram
Isekai Quartet 2
Ishuzoku Reviewers
Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun
Majutsushi Orphen Hagure Tabi

Only reason what I can think of is the .xml list for animes not able to update properly for one reason or another

Just to be sure, were you using v1.3.1 or the development branch?
