It would be great if logging can be enabled. It would help find out if an export for a particular day failed.

Definitely! What would you want logging to look like?

It should already print out a message when a particular date fails (e.g. https://github.com/erik/mixport/blob/master/main.go#L399) but I'd be surprised if there aren't extra places where logging would be useful.
