UBOOT Shell #15
Comments
wait so this is literally just,,,,, the goal?? did we make it??? |
Oh heck yes! |
I can confirm this works! Now to go about dumping and fiddling! |
Has it been tested to work with the most recent OTA update? It would be cool if we could preserve different bin dumps in a repo to emulate different updates. A certain update may have exploits that are useable for certain features. |
So, what does this let us do? Can we put Android on it? Sorry for being naive, I'm mostly here to hopefully benefit from the work of much smarter people. |
It allows people to finally tinker with boot images and hopefully make the device useful. Android won't be happening because of how little ram the device has and the QT system. |
Since it is hacked now, does anyone have decrypted firmware so we can look around in it? :D (I don't have the device because I live outside US :/) |
I bought the device yesterday after hearing about the good news, I'll probably have by the mid of next month :/, but i will definitely will tinker around with the firmware and trying to run a custom qt app |
It already allows us to run custom webapps on the car thing: https://github.com/pajowu/superbird-custom-webapp |
You're a god lol. definitely will create some cool apps to use with it
|
Doom has also been ported now: |
THIS IS THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE |
Dank |
Incredible work. So exciting watching all of this unfold.
