Looks like it's issue with Jikan API, not wrapper itself. Example: https://api.jikan.moe/v3/character/417
I will notify API author about that.

Confirmed it's not working currently on API level. Author said that he will have a look during weekend

It's fixed. Might take up to 24h to expire cache on some data though.
