Error while executing yarn run build-all command.

I am interested in contributing to ethers.js. So I forked the github repository and ran the commands following the documentation. But I got stuck while executing the command

yarn run build-all

can someone guide me to solve this error.

I generally use npm so am unfamiliar with the nitty gritty of yarn, but it looks like the version uglify-es you have is incompatible. Did you manually install your own version or somehow override the version the devDependencies in the ethers package.json uses?

Hey @ricmoo thanks for replying. I tried using npm same error happens. I am using the same version of uglify-es as specified in the main repository. I first forked and cloned the master branch. I then executed the following commands following the documentation.

npm install
npm run build

while executing npm run build-all the error occurs. If uglify-es version is the problem which version to use?

I have been dealing with this error for the past two days. Below are the changes I did to debug it.

1. I tried npm instead of yarn suggested by @ricmoo. But it resulted the same.
2. I tried to reinstall uglify-es as it appeared to have an outdated version. But it resulted in a lot of errors in other modules.

Has anyone in the community can guide me who has successfully cloned and built the distribution files.
I think the problem is with the 'content=packages/ethers/dist/ethers.umd.js.map' as it says it is not supported.

Hi @ricmoo, I went through the documentation of the uglify-es package it was mentioned that it has been deprecated and superseded by uglify-js. Will it be the cause of error. Which package has to be used uglify-es or uglify-js. In the main repository uglify-es has been used.
