Has anyone successfully run SNMPSIM in AWS, and been able to connect to the virtual SNMP devices both from with the AWS VPN network, and through VPN connections from remote offices into the AWS VPN?

We can connect to virtual devices from withing VPC by routing traffic for a subnet outside the VPN, to the Network interface of our virtual server.

But for remote VPN users, you can only route to networks within an AWS VPC. Pushing traffic to the SNMPSIM network via the NIC of of the sim server fails.

I'm sure it must be possible, but need a spark of inspiration from someone as i've got to a dead end on this so far...

I do not have any good advice, neither do I have a good understanding of your network setup.

In general, this is just a UDP traffic. In theory, if you route packets in and out, that should be enough. And the firewall, if present.
