This would be a very desirable feature I could see the community using.

Has the underlying code been sufficiently peer reviewed for it to be added to a project like Armory? Its certainly a compelling idea, but we should make sure we're adding things to armory only after we're very sure they're secure and backed with quality code.

People are using Dark Wallet right now, and other wallets are implementing support for sending to stealth addresses.

Armory at least support sending to those addresses - that doesn't present any risk to Armory users.
