I just had an interesting discuss on #bitcoin-wizards and now believe that there is no case where a standard user should import/export a specific private key from a bitcoin wallet. IMO, most cases reasons that a user would want a specific private key will just lead to him/her self shooting him/her self in the the foot. I don't mind leaving the functionality there for expert users, but there should be some big warning signs that the other backup methods will be better for 99% of use cases.
