Add markdown support

Consider either remark or marked.

Marked is nice and simple, but Remark has a huge collection of plugins.

@eugelogic I thought about what you said, about other solutions becoming more and more bloated as they add features. So with that in mind, would you want/need markdown support?

@crgeary sorry to keep you 😄 I don't mind markdown support but not for my photography project, so if there is a way to add it with a "plugin" go ahead otherwise let's put this on the back burner, but that's for offering 👍

we can add it later... it would be opt in (because it will run only if/when you have markdown files)... but there is no point including code you wont use. Perhaps you can implement it at a later date. 😉
