System.ObjectDisposedException error when refreshing device H150iRGBPROXT

I initially could not get the plugin to load at all, then it was working perfectly for a brief time, and is now giving me this error on startup.

The plugin is unable to communicate with the device. Ensure no other software is running that might be communicating with the device and check if the USB connection is solid.

I swapped the device to a different USB slot and that seems to have fixed it. I am not sure what was wrong with it as it was otherwise functional, and the device I swapped into the old slot is working fine too!
