  • Operating system: Ubuntu 14.04
  • Pencil version: 3.0.0 - beta 2 (Released June 10, 2016)

I'm working and sometimes I'm just moving objects and it suddenly crashes. It displays a white screen, and I can not do nothing, except restarting the computer. Restarting does not solve the problem, I can see the loading screen but then nothing is shown (the screen is always white)

I had the same right now.
I know you're on Ubuntu (and my computer with Pencil is Wondiws) but may be it could help: A process was running in the background after closing faulty Pencil window. Once I killed it it worked again.

Confirming this on:

  • OS: Ubuntu 16.04
  • Pencil: 3.0.4

Basically this happens about 10 times per 8 hours of work daily. I work mostly on "Flowchart" objects. Page size: 1400x2300 px, about 6 pages. File size ~500KB
Is there a way to send you debug information, but without actual contents of file I am working on?
