Packages installed from "Available" list don't show in "Installed" list #11
Comments
By default, the Package Manager shows only installed applications and hides installed libraries, such as the xqjson library. To see libraries, click on the “...” menu in the top-right area and select Show Libraries (I forget the exact wording). |
OK, I see that now. Thanks for responding. This default behavior still seems somewhat counterintuitive to me, since "installing" a library makes it simply disappear from both lists, and I'm left wondering whether it correctly installed or which libraries I have. I would tend to expect a toggle or checkbox under the "installed" tab for "show libraries." Just my two cents. |
@nathangibson that certainly some sensible option and it would be great if you submit that as an feature request and we close this one here. |
@JoernT Thanks for the response. How do I submit a feature request? Just create a new issue in this repo or somewhere else? |
@nathangibson just here in this repo - would be nice if you could describe how you'd like to switch that option in the UI (toggle in menu or otherwise?) |
I hope this is the right place for this issue.
In the PackageManager, when I install packages from the Available list, they don't show in the Installed list, even after refresh, logging out and in, etc. They are however removed from the Available list.
E.g., I installed the JSON serializer but it isn't visible in this list (see screenshot).
Running 5.0.0-SNAPSHOT in docker.
