All setup steps went fine, except the last one: launching 2 termite (serial monitor) instances and connecting to the 2 ends, nothing is sent or received. No serial communication happens over the air.
Steps to Reproduce
Install 3.3.0 on both Tx and Rx. Link works fine as a regular RC link.
Setup Airport mode as per instructions for each device using wifi of the device (250 packet rate, 4800 serial UART baud rate). The Rx and Tx where paired using a passphrase and where binding and communicating correctly (as a regular RC link) before switching them to Airport mode.
Connect the Tx module using USB cable to PC.
Connect the Rx module using a USB-Serial adapter to PC (the USB-Serial adapter works fine as it was used to flash the Rx the first time with 3.3.0).
The two devices pair as the led becomes solid green on both.
Open two serial terminals. Connect to the two devices, using 4800 bps, 8N1. Can't sent data over the air, in neither direction.
TX hardware: HappyModel Slim Pro 2.4Ghz
RX hardware: Betaflight Nano Rx 2.4Ghz
Packet Rate: 250 hz
Telemetry Ratio: 1:32
user_defines: none

Flashed again 3.3.2 on both devices and left the tx module dip switches in the programming mode.
It works now. Serial data can be sent both ways over the air.
Can't close the issue. Please feel free to close it. Thank you!
