No notification when some1 pm me for a trade

It was working fine the first day i downloaded it and now nothing show inside the notification windows when some1 pm me for a trade and it just make the "sound"
PS: I downloaded the .rar version and extracted it inside my "Document" folder and using it from there
do i need to download the .jar and replace it inside the folder too?
When do i need to start mercury trade exactly? after or before starting PoE?

i have the exact same "problem". sometimes i get only the sound and 2-3 pms later the notification window is back again. same with the hud that shows me the position of the item in the chest. sometimes its there and sometimes not. its pretty annoying cause its doesnt work most of the time and its so inconsistent for me.

i know, the issue is from 2019, but wanted to see if there is something im missing
