Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Like how git-bash shows the current branch in blue, as seen here:

It would be nice if somewhere on the Status page the user could determine what branch they are currently staging on and committing to.

Here's an option, it would be obvious here, and similar to git bash, but doesn't really have to do with "Untracked files".

The information of the current branch is definitely necessary, same goes for the commit log
