In the system configuration page we can define multiple settings:

Link between websites: if this option is set the module will generate meta tags for pages which are shared across multiple websites

Enabled: used to filter stores for which the SEO module is not to be used

Automatic meta generation: adds automatic meta generation for CMS pages

Lang Href: the value to use for hreflang meta information when generating meta tags for this store
