Describe the bug
I think the current component lists are very confusing for the user.

I would expect:

  • application
  • SDK (disabled by default)
  • default configuration
  • thumbnailer

why should sdk be disabled ?

I think this menu should no appear at all, I just did not find a way to configure nsis like that.

why should sdk be disabled ?

Because I think most of the users using the installer are not libf3d devs and do not care about the SDK.
However that's not a lot of additional files installed so yes we could just remove that installation step and install everything.
