Installation from source

Verify that you have Go 1.14+ installed
```
$ go version
go version go1.14
```

Clone this repository

$ git clone https://github.com/cli/cli.git gh-cli
$ cd gh-cli

Build the project
```
$ make
```
Move the resulting bin/gh executable to somewhere in your PATH
```
$ sudo mv ./bin/gh /usr/local/bin/
```
Run gh version to check if it worked.
