Will update the marketplace soon. Sorry for the late answer, I'm pretty busy lately.

I never published the large file editor, as it is still in embryo: it currently can show the file, but no normal text editor feature is available (search, edit,...). Not sure what features you would expect.

My idea was to provide only:

• viewing
• search
• grep :)

but no edit, as that would be too difficult and I normally only need such a thing to analyse log files.

That would be enough for Marketplace entry. Then you just see what response is and act as you decide.

Hi, can you see it listed in the marketplace client? No matter what I set in the marketplace entry, it does not show up there for me. I can find it in the webpage though and install with drag and drop.

@paul did you just mean to update the entry? Or something else?

Now that you mention it, I couldn't find it through the marketplace client. (I installed it by drag'n drop too)

It's a bit weird - one would think the webpage and the client queried the same data...

Maybe you should add a link to http://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/texteditor-grep in the readme? Would make the project a bit more accessible.

Good suggestion. Need to figure out what the problem with the marketplace is.
