Request: Add instructions on the main page of the repository

as the title says.

It's quite hard to read a sample project. It would be nice to see a minimal snippet before diving into what the library allows.

Are you asking for the content on the Getting Started page to be moved to the main page?

Yes, or at least the basic stuff, and a direct link to the website you've provided.

There are two Getting Started buttons on the main page already, plus the Docs link at the top.

The text on the main page introduces what the library is and why anyone would use it. It seems logical to me to have that before actual coding instructions.

It's a common thing on Github to introduce how easy it is to use the library via snippets.
Some even show "before" and "after", to introduce the benefits.
I don't see any "getting started" title or link. I'm talking about this page: https://github.com/facebook/fresco
