Cross reference to PR #1769, which uses a version pin to work around.
Once the ax issue is closed, we should revert the pin.

Is this still an issue? currently we are pinned to a maximum version of 0.2.1 and there is a bug with ax and pandas that was fixed in 2.8 facebook/Ax#1153
