When Fongo 2.2.* will be released?

My Company policy doesn't allow me to use RC versions of dependency.
I want to promote to Mongo Java Driver 3.6.* and I like to use Fongo 2.2.* final (not RC).
When should I expect to have the final version?

This project does not seem to be maintained anymore. You should give a try to mongo-java-server.

The switch from fongo to mongo-java-server went without any problems for me.
