Metadata field which have an explicit parent element are bundled, such as "Nachweis", "Text", "Literatur" as sub items of "Bibliographische Nachweise".
Paper features should be bundled as well, although there is no explicit parent that would tell us to do so. Would it still be possible to bundle the following elements?

  • paperType
  • paperColour
  • chainLines (when present)
  • paperMill (when present)
  • watermarkID
  • countermarkID
  • note elements immediately following one of these elements

For an example, see
grafik
(from 1 H.13)

It was discussed in the Seminar of ABR and GB whether grouped information such as paper features could be hidden away in a drop menue or something:

ein paar Grundinformationen, dann Inhaltbuttons

IIRC we discussed this and opted against this in general terms, didn't we, @thvitt? I can't find the corresponding issue.

This is going more and more against the XML driven way the metadata transformation works to a template / form driven way. I’d prefer to leave this for post-1.0 and refactor the metadata stylesheet then.
