what about splitting this to 2 parts? One for crazy fast scanning (possibly with more accounts) and one for map(s) and reports.

What exactly do you mean by "reporting"? Do you mean the map you get when visiting 127.0.0.1:5000 and the /stats endpoint?

yup. Just anything related to displaying collected data. Be it live map, spawns map, heat map, statistics, ... It can be slow, because the scanner will still run fast.

I want it to be configurable from the web in the future. And the status labels wouldn't work.
