MUR number search filed not easily discovered

What were you trying to do and how can we improve it?

I was trying to search for a specific MUR using this page
https://www.fec.gov/data/legal/search/enforcement/?search=3740&search_type=murs
I got to this page by navigating to the Legal Resources page and using the search box on that page. From there I selected 'Matters Under Review' and entered the MUR #
But when the MUR results appear the mur # I searched doesn't even appear, it pulls information from the actual MUR Text.

I think this search results page is less useful than this one https://www.fec.gov/data/legal/search/enforcement/?search=3740&search_type=murs
You should just get rid of this page and have the search results default to the above link as it is easier to filter those results versus this page.

Thanks for flagging this issue. If you are searching for a MUR by number, you can use the MUR Number search and that MUR will return. Searching for keywords will, as you say, return results from the text of the MUR, which won't easily return the MUR you want. We're still working to make the filters for MURs and AOs more intuitive for users. Knowing more about your experience really helps.
