The STX20 protocol primarily focuses on the fair mint concept. However, the introduction of batch transfers through smart contract calls is essential for enhancing the protocol's flexibility and functionality. This feature supports the integration of STX20 tokens with SIP-10 wrappers, facilitating seamless trades through AMM platforms on Stacks and enabling potential bridging to other networks.
The proposal is applicable exclusively to transfer transactions within the STX20 protocol.
Operations involving mints and deploys are considered invalid within the context of this enhancement.
Similarly, transactions related to .stxmap and .stxs projects, despite sharing structural similarities with transfer transactions, will be deemed invalid if not minted prior to their use in contract calls.
A protocol transfer will be invalidated if any transaction within the batch is marked as invalid. This measure ensures the integrity and consistency of batch transfers.
The proposal introduces a new smart contract call type, designed to maintain consistency with the existing STX transfer memo protocol. Each transfer executed within the contract must be an STX token transfer, adhering to the specified amount and memo structure consistent with other protocol transfers.
If a smart contract call event does not conform to the protocol transaction structure, it will be disregarded. This ensures that only compliant transactions are processed, maintaining the protocol's integrity.
