Describe the solution you'd like

add guest mode as default，and admin can set enable or not
if enable:

visite index.html page will show the default page with download permission only，user can logout and login as admin
can't change self(guest) password
can't exec cmd

if disable:

like current state

So will you consider this feature in the future？

Yes, it is a solution. but sometimes we just want to share our site, so whoever are not know the user and pwd can visit.

Mabybe, this can fix this problem. And it is just an option.

This was the first feature I looked for when I trying out this app.
I don't want my users to have to log in.

Filebrowser allow to be visited without username and password. Just check it out, I think it's
config set --auth.method=noauth
But at the same time you can't use the username and password to login.

And another way is sharing a folder without password. It only allow visitors to download files.I think this is what you need.
