This is mostly a placeholder for the moment so we don't lose it: we could have porcuquine et al work on a block explorer. Use it to drive exploration of what our external-facing apis might look like.

this issue is not a user story, it's a placeholder we should explode into user stories.

Also, a similar and very useful endeavor would be:

  • ipfs dag explorer
  • ethereum-on-ipfs block explorer

Both of these use mostly all the same parts and APIs, and would provide a ton of value to the rest of the ecosystem. An early version of a blockchain-on-ipfs explorer is here: https://github.com/arcalinea/IPFS-Zcash-Explorer
