What problems are you trying to solve?

Minor improvements we could do to query builder to make the main flow more intuitive and less error-prone to users.

Describe the solution you would like to see implemented

  • Restyle the Edit Query button everywhere (potentially only pick the very first in the plugin list of query display) - maybe show a list of buttons on the top bar, but in a special way??
  • Restyle the header for standalone query builder and the style of the header buttons
  • Restyle the query builder so the panel layout is clearer (maybe a stronger border and background colour for headers)
  • Consider removing the header of the query builder, for Legend Query, bring the save button to the header (consider re-designing the buttons)
  • Make Mapping execution/test -> query builder flow better
    • Hide the result panel
    • Hide the save icon (if we remove the header of query - see above - this is done naturally)
    • Consider bringing back promoting to service button that we once had for the execute from a class flow

Describe alternatives you have considered
