Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this group, together with the processes we have put in place to support them, are detailed on this page.

Ways of Working

The group favours an asynchonous way of working, allowing members to participate without the need to align calendars. To support this, we use the following communication channels:

  • Our overall backlog of work is organised via a GitHub project board
  • We use GitHub discussions as our primary mechanism for discussing and collaboration
  • We use the email distribution list (toc@lists.finos.org) for announcements (e.g. announcing a meeting)
  • We use our regular (minuted) meetings primarily for planning
  • We have ad-hoc meetings as and when they are needed. These will not be minuted.

Meetings

The TOC meets bi-weekly, alternating

Meeting minutes

All meetings minutes are available as GitHub issues - https://github.com/finos/technical-oversight-committee/issues?q=is:issue+label:meeting+ ; those open, refer to meeting minutes that haven't been completed or reviewed yet.

Historical meetings from 2022/2023 are available on https://github.com/finos/technical-oversight-committee/tree/main/meetings-2022-2023
