The first meeting of the TSC will take place on 16-06-22, at 4:00pm (UTC). The agenda is as follows:

  • Introduction and welcome to the TSC
  • Introductions from TSC members
  • A discussion of our ways of working. It is proposed that:
    • We work asynchronously as much as possible, using discussions as our primary vehicle for collaboration.
    • Meetings are primarily for progress updates and planning.
    • All meetings are minuted by the chair (although updates and corrections are most welcome)
    • As a result of the above, you shouldn't miss anything if you are unable to attend a given meeting
  • kick-off our first assignment, which is to review contribution process and incubation checklist
    • if any members of the @finos/technical-steering-committee have been through the contribution or incubation process, they are invited to share their experiences in this meeting.

Yes, that's correct. You should have received an invite for this now.

I did get the email, just for reference for others it was an email with a zoom link (https://zoom-lfx.platform.linuxfoundation.org/meeting/...) which I incorrectly assumed was a link to the zoom meeting, but it's actually a link to a page that will send you a calendar invite to the meeting!

I'm still working through github issues with our InfoSec team - I can't currently create an issue, hopefully I can retrieve what I was attempting to post otherwise I'll have to pick this up from home tomorrow...

@ColinEberhardt As part of reviewing you lifecycle checklists, remember there's also an already identified piece of work that is pending TSC approval which is the idea of blending the OpenSSF badge (for security) into our lifecycle finos/community#185.

In other words, let's avoid re-inventing the wheel on the security aspects and see if the work James did there cuts it.

Thanks!
