Erroneous message when changing currencies #4121
Comments
The message is designed to be there. You need to be admin to add, remove or edit currencies. I'll make it more clear in the new layout 👍 The email address on display can be set in your environment variables. |
Even when you change your default currency? |
Thank you for this, this solved it |
Yes, but the user experience is pretty bad so it deserves a better format in the new layout. |
Understood, ok. This can be closed if that is better for you. Thanks for the quick reply |

Bug description
I am running Firefly III version 5.4.6, and my problem is: Erroneous message for non-admin users when they update their currencies
Steps to reproduce
Under Options/Currencies, I have the test account select a curreny and mark as default. The page loads, the currency is set, but I get the message "Message: Please ask mail@example.com to add, remove or edit currencies." in a blue box at the top of the screen.
