Firezone 0.2.3 adds the ability to change the WireGuard address pool that your devices use! It also adds the ability to disable IPv4 or IPv6 connectivity for your WireGuard network.

You'll need to update your configuration file to take advantage of these. See the upgrading notes here:

Happy holidays from the Firezone team! 0.2.0 is out and contains many improvements and bug fixes since 0.1.19.

New Features

  • Multiple Users: Users are now first-class entities in Firezone. Devices now belong to users, and administrators can create users that authenticate to the Firezone web UI with email/password auth.
  • Require Web Authentication for VPN: Administrators can optionally require VPN users to sign in periodically to the Firezone web UI to keep their VPN session active.
  • Device Defaults: Device defaults like AllowedIPs, DNS, and VPN endpoint are now configurable. Devices can be configured to override these on a per-device basis as needed.
  • More Ways to Share Device Configs: New shareable link and download config buttons allow an Administrator to more easily share device configs to VPN users.
  • Connectivity Checks: New Diagnostics panel shows periodic connectivity checks to the Internet to ensure your Firezone instance is reachable by VPN users.

Note: 0.2.0 contains many new fixes and enhancements. Please read the upgrading section carefully when upgrading from 0.1.x.
