Sending from transparent addresses to Spark address in same wallet causes broken transaction #1297
Comments
This sounds similar but different with #1268. Please do not close this issue yet. Could you try running with Dandelion off and create a Transparent to Spark transaction? Start firo-qt with Do the problematic transactions still has 'unconfirmed, in dandelion stem pool' status after several days? The expected status of dropped transactions should be 'offline, not in memory pool'. |
Correction none of transparent to spark (both to other's spark and to myself) are working. |
Seems there are issues also with sending Spark transaction, but failure is much less. (#1298 (comment)) In transparent transactions I have failure of 100%, in sending spark transactions quickly after each other it seems only every 4th is broken. |
Please reply to this post with a mainnet Firo address for the bug bounty payout. Use a new address that has never been used before. Make sure to anonymize after receiving! |

Describe the issue
When I send from my transparent address to my Spark address it shows transaction with question mark icon in Transactions view.
Re-broadcast transaction doesn't seem to help. And Abandon transaction is grayed out.
It should either not allow to send from transparent to own spark (as "Anonymize All" button should use instead) or it should create proper transaction which is visible in block explorer. Currently it doesn't show in explorer.
