Steamwebhelper is not responding #1295

I get this image

I can run through system tray a game that is already installed but not open the main steam window.

Here is the complete log from terminal:

same problem, steam installed from pacman works perfectly (the same error appears, but just starts).

I had the same problem with the Steam webhelper not responding and I personally solved it by doing the following:

flatpak remove com.valvesoftware.Steam

then:

sudo rm -rf ~/.var/app/com.valvesoftware.Steam/

Then reinstalled with:

flatpak install com.valvesoftware.Steam

Then it was all fine.

I think my issue was because I messed around with folder permissions... and a lot of the error messages said Permission Denied

Not sure if it will help you though.

EDIT: There was also a similar issue here and a possible fix/workaround:
