No way to set proxy. Global proxy settings do not work #173
Comments
Opened the proxy settings from within Chromium doesn't work, but as long as you have xdg-desktop-portal-kde installed, proxies should take effect. |
Alas they don't. Hence the bug. |
You have xdg-desktop-portal installed and sure it's not giving any errors? Issues there are the most common problem from what I've seen. If you do...I'm not aware of any lasting issues with the proxy portal, but it's also admittedly not using my code. |
I bet the lasting issue is it simply doesn't support the "proxy auto configuration URL" scheme. And only supports some primitive scenarios. |
I should also add that none of my proxy switcher addons (Proxy SwitchyOmega or Proxy Switcher (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/proxy-switcher/iejkjpdckomcjdhmkemlfdapjodcpgih)) work either. |
Can't change proxy settings in chromium. Global settings from KDE don't work either.
There must be a way to set proxy
