Recipe units and their placement

I am using the app with japanese recipes, which have the units at the end of the ingredient.
This is resulting in the scaling function not working.

Do I understand that correctly: the Japanese script is left to right but the measurements and units are commonly placed at the end? Can you post a link to an importable recipe as an example?

Yes, they are normally placed at the end.
