How do i connect misfit bolt to rasspberry pi?

I am trying to connect Misfit bolt by Bluetooth , MFBOLT is visible in Bluetooth but on selecting pairing it says pairing failed timeout was reached

You don't pair with the Misfit bolt, at least I haven't done that.

I have this package (NPM) installed on my Raspberry Pi Zero W along with the misfit-bolt-http package. I run the misfit-bolt-http software as a systemd service and this allows me to control the Misfit Bolt using HTTP commands to the Raspberry Pi running the software.

Sometimes I have to restart the misfit-bolt-http service several times to allow it to connect to the Bolt. Sometimes the Bolt immediately disconnects requiring a restart of the service. I haven't been able to troubleshoot the cause of the disconnection. It could be that I have the Bolt software installed on a iPod Touch that could be confusing the device.
