Embedded chat statistics on usage so that the user/company knows how many times the chatbot was used etc.

Can you provide some examples on the metrics/statistics that would be of interest?

Sounds like a good idea.

My proposoal for suitabel metrics:

  1. How many clicks on the chatbot button were clicked per week / per month?
  2. How many conversations to the chatbot were startetd per week / per month?
  3. How many dialog bubbles were made to the conversation on average per week / per month?
  4. How many clicks on the close button were cklicked per week / per month?

Yes, these are nice.
Also we should be able to:

  1. Track links clicked. I have in mind to have Net Promoter Score survey at the end of the conversation to measure the CX from the chat.
  2. Average time to answer - I think it is important in order to measure the hardware performance or API connectivity
  3. Average number of prompts per chat to monitor the usage

Also we can have some inspiration from BotPress dashboard:
