activate prompt suppressed by zsh themes

Motivation

When I use ohmyzsh
And a custom theme such as https://github.com/romkatv/powerlevel10k
Or a custom theme such as https://github.com/spaceship-prompt/spaceship-prompt
I need flox to find a way to report the activation status to me
So I can avoid confusion

Solution ideas

(add more, select one, and write AC)

• print a flox status line on top of some flox commands: (flox, flox --help, flox list, ...) that reports the activation status
• add a flox status command that does this
• PR popular theme providers to allow flox to play better with zsh themes

was either of these related to "which end of the zshrc file" the flox activate call was placed?
I'm asking because I cant reproduce this at least under my own usage of starship
