td-agent3 installation issues

Has anyone else had any issues with installing this plugin via the td-agent-gem manager on a CentOS linux system? I made sure Ruby for my td-agent was above version 2.1 and that my fluentd is above version 0.14.2.

Here's what systemctl status tdagent returns

A dry run of the config file showed that it was also free of error

Quick Update. I installed the gem version and then ran the td-agent and it worked. I then later removed the gem version completely and it works now through td-agent. If this is a bug on the package installation end, can it be fixed?

This may not be an issue about this plugin.
td-agent3 includes fluent-plugin-rewrite-tag-filter v2.2.0 (latest released version).
So you don't need to install this plugin manually.
