Hello there.

I really like your app! It would be nice if you could add a tile for the "Tap to check phone" option for the display. Everytime I have to manouver through the settings to toggle it on/off. While running I keep the phone in my hands which is why I need to do this quite frequently...

I would be even cooler if it was possible to select any option from the Android "Settings" for a custom tile, but I assume that this is no trivial task.

Edit: "Tap to check phone" is at least available on the Google Pixel 6 Pro.

Hi @Muffexx
sorry for my late reply. I think I misconfigured some notification settings in GitHub because I did not recieve an e-mail.

"Tap to check phone" option for the display

Could you please send me a screenshot of this setting and some more information which phone and Android Version you have. Because on my phone there does not exist such a setting.

I would be even cooler if it was possible to select any option from the Android "Settings" for a custom tile, but I assume that this is no trivial task.

No, that is simply not possible 😉 . If any app (installed by the user) had that many permissions, it would be a very serious security issue.
The only thing that is possible, as you did, is opening an issue and I will look if that feature can be implemented with the permissions Android would grant to a normal app.

Hey @asdoi,
thank you very much for your answer! :) The mentioned option is in the settings menu under Display > Lock Screen > Tap to check phone. I have a Google Pixel 6 Pro (with Android 13).

Thank you for your quick response.
I will take a look. However, I think that this is only available for Android 12+ (my phone with Android 11 doesn't have this feature).
