There isn't main.js in the project so jade-brackets can't be installed directly from github url

Seems this project isn't a jade extension and the author of the extension made a mistake putting the url

No, it is not possible to install directly from the github url. This is available as a brackets plugin from within brackets. The jade-highlighter and jade-code-mirror libs can be installed via npm as shown in the readme. All three projects are ultimately built from the same source code.
